Who is Farasha ?

 

Farasha means buterrfly in arabic.

Farasha is an original artistic duo created in 2016 in Germany with Angélique Préau (french) and Jalal Mando (syrian).

 

 

 

Jalal Mando (1991)

 

comes from Homs, Syria. He studied acting in Damascus. 

During the syrian revolution he filmed and took photographs. Because of this he spent two years in prison. 

Jalal escaped from Syria and lives since november 2015 in Germany (Potsdam). In his new homeland he created Farasha with Angélique Préau. Together they make an artistic duo and organise video and photo workshops for refugies and germans.

Right now Jalal is working as actor in Hans Otto Theater (Potsdam) for the theaterplay Gehen und Bleiben directed by Clemens Bechtel which will be played in march 2017.

 

 

 

 

Angélique Préau (1993)

 

comes from Angers, France. She studied photography and video in the art school of Angers, and also acting in the theater conservatoire of Angers. 

She lives since two years in Germany (Potsdam) and works as photographer and performer (acting, singing and dancing). In her new homeland she created Farasha with Jalal Mando. Together they make an artistic duo and organise video and photo workshops for refugies and germans.

Right now Angélique is working as actress in Hans Otto Theater (Potsdam) for the theaterplay Gehen und Bleiben directed by Clemens Bechtel which will be played in march 2017.
